The primary duties encompass managing key client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention, developing strategic plans to drive growth within assigned accounts, and monitoring performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. This role requires proactive engagement with stakeholders to understand their evolving needs, aligning solutions with business objectives, and delivering exceptional service to foster long-term partnerships. Additionally, the position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate resources, resolve escalated issues, and maintain a deep understanding of market trends to inform decision-making. Strong analytical skills are essential for evaluating account health and proposing data-driven strategies, while excellent communication abilities are critical for negotiating contracts, presenting proposals, and reporting on progress to senior leadership.

Field Officers will collaborate closely with the Project Lead and the broader project team to execute a diverse range of responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

Administer surveys and perform quantitative interviews while adhering to established project protocols and ethical guidelines.

Gather precise and reliable data through the application of established research instruments and methodologies.

To acquire a comprehensive grasp of the research instrument and study objectives, thereby enabling the efficient collection of pertinent data.

Maintain strict adherence to established data collection protocols and ensure the integrity of all data throughout the process.

Prepare and submit daily reports to the Project Lead, highlighting field activities and progress updates.

Collaborate effectively with team members to facilitate the seamless execution of field operations.

Maintain precise documentation of data collection processes and immediately escalate any concerns that may compromise data integrity.

Ensure the confidentiality, dignity, and rights of all research participants are upheld, and promptly escalate any ethical concerns that arise.

Provide assistance with translations and back-translations of research instruments as needed.

Execute additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by the project supervisor.

We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in the specified field, demonstrating proficiency in key competencies and relevant hands-on experience. The ideal professional will possess a blend of technical expertise and practical know-how, along with a proven track record in executing responsibilities tied to this role. Prior experience in similar capacities is essential, as is familiarity with industry best practices and operational frameworks. Additionally, the candidate should exhibit strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to contribute effectively to team objectives.

Minimum qualification includes a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of three years of progressive accounting experience. Candidates must possess strong proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas. Familiarity with GAAP standards and tax regulations is essential, as is a meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. The role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with effective communication skills to collaborate across departments. Prior experience in financial reporting, budget preparation, or audit support is highly desirable.

Proficient fluency in both spoken and written English and Swahili is required.

Proficient in fundamental computer operations and software applications is required.

Proficiency in performing quantitative interviews or executing survey administration is essential.

Exceptional ability to interact effectively with others and convey information clearly and persuasively.

Demonstrates meticulous focus on detail and a steadfast dedication to maintaining superior standards in data collection practices.

Demonstrated capacity to operate both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.

Seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, preferably supplemented by a Master’s degree. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. Prior experience in software development, system design, or data analysis is highly beneficial. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required to collaborate effectively in a dynamic work environment. Familiarity with cloud platforms, version control systems, and agile methodologies is a plus. Candidates should demonstrate a passion for continuous learning and innovation.

A bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Social Sciences, Economics, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.

Proficiency in field data collection methodologies is required.

Proficiency in conducting interviews with male and female participants, or other gender-specific demographics, is considered a beneficial qualification.

Proficiency in utilizing Android tablets or other digital devices to gather data is essential.
