Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to managing daily operations, coordinating team activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, and maintaining high standards of performance and quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project goals, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategic initiatives that align with organizational objectives. Additionally, monitor key performance indicators, report on progress, and address any operational challenges to ensure seamless workflow and sustained business growth.

Provide leadership and operational support to security and conservation teams, maintain accurate records, uphold confidentiality standards, and facilitate seamless communication with JOCK, KWS, and NRT. Additionally, organize departmental meetings and training sessions, while overseeing staff leave and off-day schedules to ensure strict adherence to organizational policies.

Responsibilities include managing procurement processes, processing requisitions and purchases, coordinating supply deliveries, overseeing vehicle maintenance, and ensuring adherence to licensing requirements.

Financial Management & Budgeting: Responsible for creating and overseeing budgets for General Security and Armed Security, tracking expenditures, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, and coordinating with Finance, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), and Grants departments.

Craft and assist in the preparation of grant applications, engage collaboratively in fundraising campaigns, and ensure adherence to donor requirements.

Monitoring and reporting responsibilities include compiling and standardizing monitoring and evaluation (M&E) data, reviewing submissions from various departments, and producing detailed incident and operational reports.

Coordinate with governmental bodies, non-governmental organizations, and key stakeholders to foster strong external relationships while ensuring adherence to Kenyan legal frameworks and donor-specific policies. Represent LEA at JOCK meetings, serving as a liaison to champion the organization’s interests and uphold compliance standards.

Performs additional duties as assigned by management from time to time.

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to fill this critical role, requiring a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in a comparable position. The ideal applicant will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with strong analytical and communication skills. Key responsibilities include managing daily operations, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to industry regulations. Additionally, the role demands proficiency in data analysis tools, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a track record of delivering measurable results. Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.

The position requires an individual with professional qualifications that include:

A minimum of a diploma in Business Administration, Public Administration, Project Management, Finance, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management—or a closely related field—is required.

A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

3–5 years of professional experience in administrative and financial coordination, ideally within conservation or security sectors, is required.

In organizations funded by non-governmental entities or donors, where financial resources are derived from external contributions rather than government allocations.

Skilled in Information Technology, with expertise in data management, reporting systems, Microsoft Office, and security software.

Proficiency in Kenyan wildlife conservation regulations is required.
