Job summary/ Job purpose/ Role Intent:
The Sectional IP Network Engineer–Field will deliver MAN network availability and customer uptime KPIs by performing on-site power-related maintenance for designated MAN nodes, maintaining service quality and continuity in accordance with company KPIs, and adhering to budgeted cost constraints. Additionally, the role involves conducting Feasibility & Implementation assessments, as well as executing billing-related disconnections and reconnections of ISDN and PSTN circuits at the MAN level.
Oversee and execute critical responsibilities encompassing strategic planning and operational oversight, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and fostering sustainable growth. Develop, implement, and monitor initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and performance across departments. Ensure consistent MAN availability by proactively maintaining the power supply of the nodes.
Effectively manage and resolve MAN and Switch power-related faults in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Key updates are facilitated throughout the restoration journey to ensure the customer remains fully informed at all times.
Undertake feasibility assessments, implement ISDN and PSTN circuits, and manage their disconnection and reconnection processes.
Develops comprehensive customer setup documentation to ensure accurate and efficient onboarding processes.
Ensure a secure work environment by adhering to HSE protocols, established engineering standards, defined procedures, and applicable legal regulations.
Monitor individual performance metrics and recommend targeted strategies to enhance productivity.
Oversee and maintain accurate records of network expenditures while ensuring alignment with financial reporting standards set by the Finance department.
Performs any additional duties as directed by the line manager, including tasks delegated or assigned, to support operational objectives.

Collect and submit Street MAN power meter readings to the finance department on or before the 20th day of each month.

Conduct quarterly routine maintenance for all MAN nodes, assessing power autonomy status and offering tailored recommendations for each node.
Successfully address and finalize assigned Feasibility tickets within a 24-hour timeframe.
