The Legal Operations Specialist (National TDB Volunteer) collaborates with the Legal Operations Manager to facilitate advancements in technology, streamline operations, enhance processes, execute transactions, and contribute to various Legal Department initiatives. This role offers continuous administrative and technical assistance to the Legal Operations Team within the Legal Department, aiming to bolster TDB Group’s operational efficiency, safeguard its interests, and minimize legal risks.

The Legal Operations Specialist is tasked with a range of critical responsibilities, encompassing but extending beyond the following key duties:
Contribute to the enhancement of the Legal Department’s processes, systems, and technology by assisting in the development and execution of a project pipeline aimed at boosting efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate closely with the Legal Operations Department to systematically gather, evaluate, and present data pertaining to departmental operations, thereby producing key performance indicators that enable the assessment of resource efficiency and productivity improvements. Additionally, ensure that all deliverables are strategically aligned with the Department’s overarching goals.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze and resolve challenges, partnering with consulting staff to execute the agreed-upon solutions.
The Legal Operations Department relies on assistance in delivering project management support to the Legal Department, encompassing the creation of project plans, ongoing status oversight, and task progress monitoring.
Project oversight encompasses the entire transaction lifecycle for complex, multi-party lending activities within the Group, from initiation to completion, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.
The Legal Department’s budget undergoes monthly review and reconciliation, with updated quarterly and annual forecasts prepared as needed.
The role involves assisting with technical and administrative duties integral to the Department’s case management and finalization processes, including document preparation, handling phone communications, drafting and distributing correspondence, managing document routing, and processing instructions and invoices from external legal counsel.
The role involves organizing and managing legal documents, encompassing both physical and digital formats, while ensuring strict adherence to the Bank’s established policies and procedures.
Arranges meetings, prepares materials, and manages post-meeting tasks to facilitate the Department’s daily operations.
You will assist with multiple operational projects and initiatives within the department, contributing to their successful execution and alignment with organizational objectives.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of relevant experience, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is essential, as is the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to articulate complex ideas clearly. Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning to stay ahead in a dynamic field. A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is preferred, though equivalent professional experience may be considered.
A recognized institution must award a Bachelor’s degree in business management, business administration, or business organization. While not mandatory, candidates holding a Master’s degree in a related discipline will be given preference.
A minimum of five years of hands-on, relevant professional experience is required.
International exposure at a commercial enterprise, financial institution, professional services firm, or public sector financial body—such as an international law firm, multinational corporation, banking institution, insurance company, management consulting firm, development finance institution, Ministry of Finance, National Treasury, or Sovereign Wealth Fund—would be considered beneficial.
Accomplished in leading and overseeing projects with a demonstrated history of successful delivery.
Holding a formal project management certification is beneficial.
