A minimum of 10 to 15 years of expertise in freight forwarding and logistics is essential, particularly with a deep proficiency in air freight and containerized sea freight operations.
With a minimum of five years of experience in executive leadership capacities—such as General Manager, Director, or Chief Executive Officer—where direct Profit & Loss oversight was a core responsibility—you have honed strategic decision-making skills and demonstrated accountability for financial outcomes.
Demonstrated expertise in delivering exceptional client service and driving operational enhancements within logistics operations.
Proficiency in navigating the Kenyan and East African regulatory frameworks, including familiarity with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Kenya Ports Authority (PA), and Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEYS), is essential.
A bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a closely related field is essential; possessing an MBA or certifications such as CULT or FIAT would further enhance your qualifications.
