Our prestigious high-end golf club located in Nairobi is currently seeking a polished, professional, and guest-centric Receptionist and Waitstaff to enhance their team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or mathematics. A minimum of three years of professional experience in a related role is essential. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++ is required. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are critical. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are also necessary to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment. Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum, is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry advancements.

A relevant qualification in Secretarial Studies, Front Office Management, Hospitality Management, or a comparable discipline is required.

A minimum of two years of professional experience in a front office or receptionist capacity is required, ideally gained within a luxury hospitality setting.

Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office applications and adept at leveraging computer systems to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Proven expertise in front office operations and customer service management, with a strong ability to oversee and optimize daily administrative functions while ensuring exceptional client interactions and satisfaction.

Possesses proficiency in utilizing front office equipment and payment processing devices, such as PDQ terminals.

Proficient in both spoken and written English and Kiswahili, with a strong command of language skills.

A polished demeanor, strong interpersonal abilities, and a commitment to customer satisfaction are essential.

Exceptional skills in organizing tasks efficiently and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously are essential for this role.

Capable of consistently upholding strict confidentiality and maintaining a highly professional demeanor in all situations.

The position offers a structured work schedule designed to meet operational needs while promoting a healthy work-life balance. Employees are expected to adhere to assigned shifts, which may include day, evening, or overnight hours depending on business demands. Weekend and holiday availability is often required to ensure continuous coverage and service excellence. Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules are essential attributes for success in this role.

Assigned to the first shift, which operates from six in the morning until two in the afternoon.

The second shift operates from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM daily.

Nairobi-based position available, requiring the candidate to be based in Kenya’s vibrant capital city.

Gross monthly salary is Ash 40,000, inclusive of all statutory deductions.
