Group Function Legal Affairs & Compliance (GALA) in the EMEA region delivers strategic guidance on commercial, regulatory, governance, and compliance issues, ensuring business growth while safeguarding Ericsson’s interests and maintaining its reputation.
Serving as Group Legal Counsel for the East & North Africa legal team, you will provide leadership and guidance on a wide range of legal matters spanning designated regions, encompassing commercial contracts, corporate and regulatory compliance, data protection, competition law, intellectual property, sanctions and trade controls, as well as dispute resolution. You will collaborate with key business and legal stakeholders to oversee high-value customer and supplier agreements, facilitate strategic partnerships, manage corporate transactions, ensure governance adherence, and deliver expert advisory services.
You will join the legal team for the Customer Unit covering East & North Africa, reporting directly to the Head of Legal for that region, and will be stationed in one of the territories within the specified area.

What You’ll Bring
A seasoned attorney with a minimum of seven years of practice in a top-tier law firm or a multinational corporate legal department is required.
Experienced in handling commercial, corporate, regulatory, and compliance issues with a proven track record.
Demonstrated proficiency in managing intricate contractual agreements, facilitating high-stakes negotiations, and overseeing international business initiatives.
Demonstrates exceptional business insight alongside the capacity to effectively align legal considerations with strategic commercial goals.
Proven ability to communicate clearly, negotiate effectively, and manage stakeholder relationships with professionalism and diplomacy.
Demonstrated capability to operate autonomously while effectively engaging and persuading key decision-makers across varied organizational settings.
Proficiency in the technology or telecommunications industry is beneficial.
