Mission Description

Serving as a key member of the Human Resources team under the supervision of the Regional HR Manager for East Africa, the Talent Manager is instrumental in fostering the company’s expansion by identifying, nurturing, and retaining top-tier talent.

Drive the recruitment process for senior and pivotal positions, simultaneously cultivating robust talent pipelines and implementing impactful attraction and selection strategies.

Design and develop strategic talent development programs encompassing learning initiatives, career progression pathways, competency-based frameworks, and innovative digital learning solutions.

Drive leadership development and succession planning, including the identification and development of high-potential employees

Oversee the performance management cycle and provide managers with guidance on establishing goals, delivering feedback, and offering coaching.

Drive efforts to bolster employee engagement, strengthen retention rates, and cultivate a thriving organizational culture, with a dedicated focus on advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.

Enhance competitive compensation frameworks while cultivating strategic external collaborations with universities, agencies, and training providers, and lead employer branding initiatives.

Profile

Master’s degree in human resources management is required, along with a minimum of six years of professional experience in Talent Management and Learning & Development.

Possesses extensive experience in recruitment, talent development, coaching, and mentoring throughout the entire talent lifecycle.

Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders and deliver clear, concise messaging across all levels of an organization.

Possesses a solid grasp of workforce planning principles and HR analytics methodologies. Demonstrates proficiency in utilizing data-driven approaches to forecast staffing needs, optimize workforce allocation, and enhance organizational efficiency through insightful HR metrics analysis.

Capable of thriving amidst rapid change and high-pressure situations.
