Maintain disciplined expansion in retail lending while ensuring complete accountability for portfolio performance, with a focus on reducing non-performing loans (NPLs), enhancing recoveries, managing restructures, and implementing portfolio remediation strategies.
Enhance credit underwriting standards, portfolio monitoring, early warning systems, and risk controls to avert the recurrence of past asset quality challenges.
Establish and uphold rigorous performance benchmarks for Branch Managers and Retail teams, ensuring adherence to targets in sales, service excellence, compliance, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation.
Spearhead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, automate processes, transition channels, and optimize costs, thereby boosting productivity and lowering the cost-to-serve ratio.
Ensure strict adherence to CBK regulations, internal policies, audit mandates, and governance standards within the Retail Banking function.
Drive high-performing Retail Banking teams by cultivating a culture of excellence, accountability, customer focus, and rigorous risk management.
Identify potential avenues for growth and collaborate with marketing and product development teams to conceptualize, price, and introduce customized offerings for retail and high-value clientele while tracking their performance metrics.
Collaborate with branch managers to develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at revitalizing branches currently operating at a loss.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field required. Minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience, including at least two years in a supervisory or management role. Proficiency in GAAP standards and strong technical skills in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle). Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication abilities. Familiarity with financial reporting, auditing processes, and internal controls. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively across teams. Prior experience with ERP systems and budgeting processes is advantageous.
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a comparable discipline is required.
