The remuneration for this position ranges from KSS. 34,420 to Kshs. 46,120 per month, structured as follows: KSS. 34,420 x 1,300; Kshs. 35,720 x 1,380; Kshs. 37,100 x 1,390; Kshs. 38,490 x 1,460; Kshs. 39,950 x 1,470; Kshs. 41,420 x 1,470; Kshs. 42,890 x 1,520; Kshs. 44,410 x 1,710; and culminating at KSS. 46,120 per month.

County Headquarters is responsible for overseeing the administrative, operational, and logistical functions of the county government, ensuring efficient delivery of public services to residents. Field Administration involves supervising and coordinating field operations to ensure efficient execution of projects while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and industry standards. The role requires strong leadership skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments. Responsibilities include overseeing field teams, monitoring project progress, addressing operational challenges, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the position demands excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to facilitate seamless collaboration between field personnel and headquarters.
The incumbent will report to and work under the direction of a senior officer. Key responsibilities at this level include building and maintaining relationships with relevant stakeholders, addressing public concerns and issues, tracking and assessing community projects, coordinating local-level resource mobilization, encouraging citizen engagement in development initiatives, ensuring adherence to occupational health and safety standards, upholding ethical practices and principles of good governance, compiling and analyzing data related to developmental activities, and coordinating with stakeholders to organize public participation forums.
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, preferably with a focus on full-stack development.
– Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, along with experience with frameworks like React, Angular, or Node.js.
– Strong understanding of database systems, including SQL and NoSQL, and hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
– Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects, mentor junior developers, and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
– Excellent problem-solving skills with a commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
– Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is highly desirable.
– Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
For eligibility for this grade, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
A recognized institution must confer a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration/Management, Community Development, or any other relevant Social Science discipline.
A diploma or certification in computer applications is required.
