What You’ll Do

Drive consumer marketing initiatives across East Africa while also providing strategic support for culturally tailored campaigns in other Sub-Saharan African markets.

Collaborate across diverse departments—including marketing, music, partnerships, media, analytics, and creative—to develop and execute cohesive campaigns from initial planning to final implementation.

Leverage both platform-based and external data sources to uncover patterns in audience engagement, emerging market trends, and key growth catalysts, thereby shaping strategic marketing initiatives.

In partnership with internal stakeholders and external agency partners, craft comprehensive creative and media briefs that effectively communicate objectives and guide strategic decision-making.

Devise and execute strategies aimed at acquiring, engaging, and retaining users across both Free and Premium segments.

Forge collaborative alliances with local entities, including partners, influencers, creators, agencies, and cultural hubs, to amplify brand visibility and enhance consumer engagement.

Evaluate campaign effectiveness and derive key insights to inform strategic decisions for upcoming initiatives and market approaches.

Tailor international marketing strategies to align with local preferences and cultural nuances, ensuring relevance and engagement across varied consumer segments and market environments.

Facilitate collaborative initiatives with internal departments and regional partners to amplify local music and cultural events.

Who You Are

With a minimum of four years of experience in consumer marketing, brand marketing, or campaign management within East Africa, you bring a proven track record of success in delivering impactful marketing initiatives.

You possess a proven track record of collaborating effectively across various Sub-Saharan African markets or regional campaigns.

Seasoned professionals with a strong background in brand strategy, consumer insights, digital marketing, media planning, or project management are encouraged to apply.

Having successfully executed high-impact campaigns in digital enterprises, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), retail, entertainment, or technology sectors, you bring a proven track record of delivering measurable results.

You possess the ability to convert consumer and cultural insights into impactful marketing strategies and campaigns.

You possess strong proficiency in analyzing data and performance metrics, leveraging them to assess success and enhance marketing effectiveness.

You excel at juggling various priorities at once, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and consistently delivering high-quality results.

As a cooperative ally, you engage seamlessly with diverse teams, external agencies, and key stakeholders, bridging varying viewpoints and competing priorities to drive cohesive outcomes.

You demonstrate a forward-thinking approach, prioritizing practical solutions while thriving in dynamic, rapidly evolving settings.

You are passionate about culture, storytelling, and crafting experiences that genuinely resonate with local communities.
