Oversee assigned functions with a focus on delivering key responsibilities that align with organizational objectives, ensuring efficient execution of tasks and adherence to established standards.

Install, configure, commission, and maintain a range of microwave radios, LTE, and GSM telecom equipment, as well as other critical infrastructure, at tower and rooftop sites.

Perform Physical Acceptance Tests (PAT) and conduct thorough quality inspections of newly installed equipment and infrastructure.

Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on telecom equipment to sustain optimal network availability and service standards.

Perform diagnostic assessments and replace defective radio, transmission, and power equipment on tower and rooftop installations.

Support network optimization efforts by conducting drive tests, analyzing signal data, diagnosing faults, and implementing performance enhancement initiatives.

Responsibilities include the upkeep and technical support of electrical power infrastructure, specifically rectifiers, battery units, diesel engine generators (DEG), power distribution networks, grounding systems, and site-level electrical protection mechanisms.

Conduct thorough assessments of on-site electrical installations to verify adherence to established electrical engineering standards and stringent safety protocols.

Perform regular inspections and upkeep of tower and rooftop infrastructure, which involves treating rust, verifying earthing system integrity, and assessing structural integrity.

Perform comprehensive site evaluations, technical evaluations, and feasibility analyses to support network expansion initiatives and infrastructure enhancements.

Assist in executing network upgrades, modernization initiatives, and the rollout of new technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities.

Compile maintenance reports, incident reports, acceptance documentation, and operational records with precision and punctuality.

Oversee daily operations by managing, guiding, and assigning tasks to the reporting technician to uphold field efficiency and adherence to established standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline from an accredited institution. A minimum of five years of progressive experience in a similar role within the industry. Proficiency in project management methodologies, including Agile and Scrum, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams or projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools relevant to the position.

A relevant academic qualification in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline is required.

A minimum of two to three years of hands-on experience in telecom field operations, radio systems, or network maintenance is required.

Proficiency in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of microwave radio systems and LTE/GSM equipment, complemented by practical experience in these domains.

Professional vendors’ certifications can significantly enhance your application.

Proficiency in fundamental electrical engineering concepts, including AC/DC power systems, rectifiers, generators, batteries, grounding, and electrical safety protocols.

Valid Fall Arrest Certification, with a minimum of one year remaining before expiration, is required.

Certification or training in RF Awareness, HSE, and DOSH regulations.

Physically and medically capable of performing duties at elevated heights and in field environments.
