Perform Physical Acceptance Tests (PAT) and conduct comprehensive site quality inspections on newly installed equipment and infrastructure.
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on telecom equipment to sustain optimal network availability and service reliability.
Perform diagnostic evaluations and replace malfunctioning radio, transmission, and power systems on elevated tower and rooftop installations.
Conduct network optimization tasks such as executing drive tests, performing signal analysis, diagnosing faults, and implementing performance improvement initiatives.
Responsible for the upkeep and reliability of electrical power systems, encompassing rectifiers, batteries, diesel engine generators (DEG), power distribution systems, grounding infrastructure, and site electrical protection mechanisms.
Oversee and examine site electrical installations to verify adherence to electrical engineering standards and safety protocols.
Perform regular assessments and upkeep of tower and rooftop infrastructure, conducting thorough examinations of structural integrity, rust mitigation, and grounding system performance.
Perform comprehensive site evaluations, technical analyses, and feasibility evaluations to support network expansion initiatives and infrastructure enhancements.
Facilitate the execution of network infrastructure enhancements, modernization initiatives, and the introduction of cutting-edge technologies.
Accurately and punctually compile maintenance reports, incident reports, acceptance documentation, and operational records to ensure comprehensive documentation.
Deliver ongoing oversight, technical assistance, mentorship, and task delegation to the assigned technician, fostering streamlined field operations and adherence to established standards.
Minimum qualifications and essential skills required for this position include:
Earned a Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
Minimum of two to three years of hands-on experience in telecom field operations, radio systems, or network maintenance is required.
Professional candidates should possess solid expertise in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of microwave radio systems as well as LTE and GSM equipment, supported by practical experience in these areas.
Professional Experience: While prior vendor certifications are not mandatory, they will enhance your candidacy.
A foundational knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals, including AC/DC power systems, rectifiers, generators, batteries, grounding techniques, and electrical safety protocols, is required.
A current Fall Arrest Certification, valid for a minimum of one year prior to expiration, is required.
Requires certification or training in RF Awareness, HSE, and DISH regulations.
Must possess full physical and medical capability to perform duties at elevated heights and in field settings.
