Job Purpose:
This role demands the WTS Technician to deliver technical support while upholding quality benchmarks across all Jib franchises. Additionally, the position involves overseeing quality audit initiatives and pinpointing opportunities for ongoing enhancement in quality control protocols, procedures, and standards implemented at each franchise. The role necessitates direct engagement, perseverance, and flexibility to address the dynamic challenges and operational demands encountered daily with efficiency.
The role encompasses a comprehensive set of duties and responsibilities, including the execution of key tasks essential to the position. This involves overseeing daily operations, managing project timelines, and ensuring adherence to organizational policies and procedures. Additionally, the position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives, as well as maintaining clear communication channels to facilitate seamless workflows. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems is mandatory, along with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
Address technical service requests from franchises with promptness and thoroughness.
Execute installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting for water treatment systems, as well as the facility up-fits housing these systems.
To establish and sustain operational and quality control processes while ensuring that local operators receive the necessary training.
Conduct routine franchise visits and quality audits to uphold Jib’s quality standards and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Support Jibuti’s lab operations by assisting with sample collection and conducting comprehensive root cause analyses to identify underlying issues, followed by implementing corrective actions.
Maintain precise records of all quality audit programs executed at franchises to ensure comprehensive documentation.
Conduct routine evaluations and assessments of quality conditions at franchises while facilitating the implementation of the Jib Quality Breach Policy.
Conduct thorough root cause investigations for all non-conformities and implement both preventive and corrective measures to ensure franchises consistently uphold superior quality standards.
Maintain precise records of Jib’s quality control processes, procedures, and standards, while proactively suggesting updates or enhancements as appropriate.
Consistently achieve monthly targets while monitoring performance through agreed-upon key performance indicators to maintain operational efficiency.
Develop, organize, and oversee a comprehensive preventive maintenance program tailored for all franchises across Kenya. Establish, track, and enforce the execution of a meticulously structured maintenance schedule to ensure operational efficiency.
This role operates with a significant degree of independence and maintains a direct reporting line to the Production & Quality Coordinator.
Management Responsibility: Providing guidance and assistance to the Franchisee in overseeing and directing the operator’s team effectively.
