Job purpose
To enhance retailer engagement, the role involves conducting regular channel visits to improve visibility and merchandising at the point of purchase for SOS and Trash agents, driving awareness and performance on SIMs and float management.
Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, including managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records. Spearhead strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability while fostering a collaborative work environment. Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline workflows and mitigate operational risks. Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals, resolve challenges, and drive continuous improvement. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure transparency and accountability.
SSO & Agent Recruitment & Mapping – Responsible for identifying and recruiting Agents, with a focus on mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores.
Visit SOS and agents on a regular basis following the agreed-upon route and beat plans to ensure consistent coverage.
Provide comprehensive training on business tools and ensure the distribution of all necessary transaction tools to SSO and agent outlets. Additionally, deliver thorough training sessions to SOS and Trash Agents on all relevant processes.
AML training and development initiatives involve instructing agents on anti-money laundering (AML) protocols and supervisory staff on Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, specifically in the context of SIM REG compliance.
Monitor and maintain the availability of SIM stock to ensure seamless coverage. Implement and uphold the 1.5x stock rule for agents while guaranteeing that SOS possess sufficient SIM inventory for new registrations and activations.
Develop and uphold merchandising standards by ensuring the availability of merchandising materials at SOS and Agent outlets.
We seek candidates holding advanced degrees in relevant fields, coupled with substantial professional experience. A minimum of five years in a comparable role is essential, along with proficiency in industry-specific tools and methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to navigate complex challenges. Excellent communication abilities are necessary for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
