Compiles daily inventory and sales reports for the bar, including the Bar Inventory and Sales Report, Inter-Transfer Report, Breakage/Spoilage/Spillage Report, Full Bottle Sales Report, and Daily Operating Equipment Inventory.
The incumbent is responsible for compiling and submitting requisitions for beverage, operational, and food supplies needed at the bar.
Maintains bar inventory in alignment with predetermined par stock levels and organizes requisitioned items according to the proper storage requirements for each type of wine and spirit.
Ensures bar supplies, including napkins, straws, and cocktail picks, are stocked sufficiently and organized neatly within designated areas.
Oversees cashiering responsibilities when assigned at self-service locations such as Pool Side Outlets.
The role involves verifying guest orders as documented in the guest check and calculating the corresponding total sales.
Compiles the daily sales figures and report to be submitted to the Head Cashier for review.
Maintains all necessary bar equipment—including glassware, bar tools, and chinaware—in a clean and operational state to support service hours effectively.
Responsible for meticulously organizing and replenishing glassware inventory while maintaining sufficient stock levels to meet operational demands.
Performs a monthly inventory assessment of the bar’s operational equipment.
Performs daily maintenance and operational checks on both the bar chiller and wine chiller to ensure optimal performance and hygiene standards.
Ensures beverages are adequately chilled and cooled to the correct serving temperature prior to service hours.
Before service begins, ensures all mile-en-place is meticulously prepared and organized, adhering to established standards.
During peak service periods, this role involves the preparation of all required garnishes and mixers to enhance operational efficiency.
Elevates the sales performance of wines and spirits within the bar environment.
Engages with professional associations and clubs focused on bars, cocktails, and wines to stay informed about evolving service trends and product developments, while also enhancing the establishment’s reputation.
Assists colleagues within the department and other departments as needed to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services for the hotel.
Assists the Restaurant Manager in executing additional duties aimed at enhancing guest satisfaction and increasing hotel profitability.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, alongside strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Additionally, experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, as well as familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and a passion for staying updated with emerging technologies.
Holding a recognized qualification in Food & Beverage Service, Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution is required.
