Mission Description

Coordinate activities between Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Storage and Retrieval (ESR), and palletizing operations with Production (Surface Mount Device/Pick, Mix, Dispense) to facilitate seamless material and finished goods transfer. Ensure operational efficiency by aligning workflows and maintaining clear communication channels across all departments.

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of WMS/ODS Data Clerks, material transporters, palletizing warehousemen, and MHE operators within the ODS and Palletizing departments.

Ensuring the factory’s operations align with BAT’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accurate and compliant material issuance.

Ensuring accurate receipt and posting of finished goods in accordance with BAT’s standard operating procedures to provide operational support to the production team.

Hourly inspections of factory modules are conducted to verify Kanban reorder levels and the presence of Kanban materials, alongside the production schedule and other critical information, as documented in the 3-hour Sics.

Ensure outgoing materials to SMD/PMD are verified and accurately recorded in the checker’s logbook according to established requirements.

Ensure the materials staged at Factory Kanbans remain within the specified quantity limits at all times.

The materials delivered must align precisely with the designated module, ensuring adherence to the established Kanban levels.

Serve as a communication bridge between the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and palletizing departments, as well as the Production teams in Surface Mount Device (SMD) and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Manufacturing (PMD) divisions.

Ensure accurate inventory management by data clerks through rigorous stock checks, systematic audits, and regular cycle counts, all executed in strict accordance with established company procedures.

Prepare and submit precise, up-to-date daily reports—including cycle counts, production summaries, and related documentation—to uphold robust internal reporting standards and monitor material movements effectively.

Engage in stock-taking procedures conducted in the middle and at the end of each month.

Ensure seamless and prompt communication with factory and warehouse staff to facilitate precise data collection and expedite issue resolution.

Monitor operational performance to uphold safety standards and ensure adherence to established protocols throughout all activities.

Maintaining impeccable ODS housekeeping standards in strict alignment with the 5S methodology is a key responsibility.

Conduct daily observations of Pulsar to ensure accurate and timely data collection.

Responsibilities include facilitating daily toolbox meetings to ensure clear communication of goals, objectives, and performance expectations, while also obtaining required sign-offs.

Responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, and accessibility for all stakeholders. This involves creating user manuals, system guides, API references, and troubleshooting documents, as well as updating existing materials to reflect software changes or new features. Strong attention to detail, proficiency in structured documentation tools, and the ability to convey complex technical concepts in an understandable manner are essential. Collaboration with development teams, project managers, and subject-matter experts is often required to gather accurate information and align documentation with evolving project requirements.

Ensure that comprehensive documentation records for all books housed at ODS are meticulously maintained and up to date.

Accurate and reliable real-time processing is required.

Diligently execute all assigned duties received from the Warehouse Supervisor with a proactive approach.

Profile

A tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or a closely related discipline is essential.

Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel is essential for this role.

Proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant industry-specific courses is highly advantageous.

Seeking candidates with at least two years of professional experience in supply chain operations or a closely related discipline.
