Job Summary

As a Domain Consultant specializing in network security transformation, you deliver expert technical advice and strategic direction to customers navigating their network security and zero trust initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in crafting tailored technical solutions that align with critical business objectives. Additionally, you will champion our industry-leading capabilities in on-premises, cloud, and security services, reinforcing Palo Alto Networks’ position as the trusted cybersecurity partner for our customers.

Oversee and execute critical responsibilities encompassing project management, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely and successful project completion. Develop and implement strategic plans, monitor progress against milestones, and allocate resources efficiently to meet organizational objectives. Lead initiatives that drive innovation, process improvements, and operational excellence while fostering a high-performance culture. Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards through rigorous oversight and continuous evaluation. Facilitate effective communication between departments, stakeholders, and senior leadership to align goals and resolve escalated issues. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to enhance productivity, skill development, and career growth opportunities.

Ensures prospective customers and partners complete technical validation projects successfully by adhering to industry best practices, thereby securing technical wins in designated opportunities.

Design innovative solutions to enhance and streamline your customers’ security frameworks, empowering them to fortify their defenses with efficiency and precision.

Document comprehensive high-level designs and critical use cases to guarantee precise implementation and successful realization of value from Palo Alto Networks solutions.

Facilitate discussions on current industry trends and evolving developments in the security landscape.

Ensures comprehensive alignment between product offerings and customer needs, emphasizing unique value propositions to distinguish the product from competitors.

As the primary technical liaison for Network Security, your role will involve partnering with teams to promptly address RBIs and RFPs while positioning Palo Alto Networks or partner-delivered services as needed to guarantee seamless implementation and maximize the value of Palo Alto Networks solutions.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Minimum of three years of experience in software development or a comparable role is necessary. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++ is essential. Experience with databases, APIs, and cloud services is a must. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team are critical. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are also required. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git is preferred. Understanding of software development best practices and an eagerness to learn new technologies are highly valued.

Your Experience

Proficiency in pre-sales or sales engineering roles, particularly within domains such as Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security, or SSE/SASE, is required.

Possesses exceptional ability to communicate with customers and resolve issues effectively. Demonstrates strong proficiency in addressing inquiries and delivering solutions with clarity and professionalism.

Professional experience in customer-facing roles, coupled with a strong aptitude for resolving inquiries efficiently and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

A strong proficiency in Network Security technologies is essential, including expertise in Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASE), Proxy solutions, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policies.

Possesses comprehensive expertise in both On-Premise and Cloud-Based Network Security Solutions, with a deep understanding of their architectures, functionalities, and deployment models. Demonstrates proficiency in configuring, managing, and optimizing these technologies to safeguard network infrastructures against evolving cyber threats.
