The position

Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the Business Development Lead will play a pivotal role in advancing ISBN’s growth strategy by broadening market penetration, accelerating enrollment, and cultivating strategic partnerships for our portfolio of market-driven programs.

Oversee and execute core duties and obligations associated with this position, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Implement and maintain processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality across assigned responsibilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, address challenges, and achieve departmental targets. Monitor performance metrics and key indicators to assess progress and identify opportunities for improvement. Prepare and present detailed reports, analyses, and recommendations to senior leadership to support data-driven decision-making. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

We are seeking a results-driven Sales professional to join our team, responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic client engagement and effective deal closure. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales, with demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding targets. Key responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and negotiating contracts to maximize profitability. Proficiency in CRM tools and strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of three years of relevant sales experience is required, and familiarity with industry-specific products or services is a plus.

Partner with the Head of Business Development to identify and cultivate new accounts within entrepreneurial networks, thereby contributing to the achievement of company sales objectives.

Responsible for shepherding the entire sales lifecycle, from initial prospect identification through final deal closure, ensuring each stage is executed with precision and strategic intent.

Responsibilities include tracking progress, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing corrective measures to achieve project milestones efficiently. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in project management tools are essential for success in this position.

Assist the Head of Business Development in organizing and executing the ISBN Short Programs.

Collaborate closely with the Head of Business Development to strategize and implement ISBN’s key entrepreneur and sales initiatives.

Management may assign additional responsibilities at the discretion of ISBN leadership as needed.

Seeking candidates with a strong academic foundation and relevant professional credentials. Applicants must possess advanced degrees or specialized training in a pertinent field, along with demonstrated expertise through practical experience. Key requirements include certifications, licenses, or other qualifications essential to the role. Proficiency in industry-specific methodologies and adherence to professional standards are mandatory.

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or a closely related discipline is required.

With a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or commercial functions—preferably within training, consulting, or entrepreneurship development environments—you bring a proven track record of driving growth and fostering collaborations.

Achieved measurable success in consistently surpassing revenue, sales, or enrollment objectives, as evidenced by track record of results.

Exceptional interpersonal abilities, strategic negotiation prowess, and adept stakeholder management are essential for cultivating and sustaining key relationships.
