The position

The Business Development Lead will collaborate closely with the Head of Business Development to advance ISBN’s strategic growth objectives, including expanding market presence, increasing enrollment, and cultivating high-value partnerships for our market-driven programs.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives through meticulous planning and execution. Facilitate critical processes, troubleshoot challenges proactively, and maintain high standards of efficiency and accuracy in all operations. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to foster synergy, streamline workflows, and enhance overall productivity. Serve as a pivotal point of contact for stakeholders, delivering timely updates, resolving inquiries, and ensuring seamless communication channels. Demonstrate leadership by mentoring junior staff, delegating tasks effectively, and upholding a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Prioritize adherence to policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to mitigate risks and sustain operational excellence.

We are seeking a dynamic Sales professional to join our team and drive revenue growth through strategic client engagement and relationship building. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales, with demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding targets within a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with the ability to identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions. A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience may be considered. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is required, and prior experience in [industry, if applicable] is a plus. Key responsibilities include prospecting new clients, managing existing accounts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless sales execution. The successful candidate will be results-driven, self-motivated, and adept at navigating competitive markets to achieve organizational objectives.

Partner with the Head of Business Development to identify and expand new accounts within entrepreneurial sectors, ensuring alignment with the company’s sales objectives.

Drive the entire sales process, from initial prospect identification through to deal closure, ensuring seamless progression at each stage.

Responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong, long-term partnerships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and foster growth. Duties include regular contact to understand needs, address concerns promptly, and deliver tailored solutions that align with client objectives. Collaborates cross-functionally to resolve issues, streamline processes, and enhance overall service delivery. Tracks performance metrics to measure client retention and revenue impact while identifying opportunities for upselling or expansion. Requires excellent communication skills, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to build trust through consistent, high-quality interactions.

Program management and support involves overseeing project lifecycles, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and delivering solutions that meet stakeholder expectations. Key responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, budgets, and resources, and mitigating risks to maintain operational efficiency. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are essential to drive successful outcomes, while proficiency in project management methodologies and tools is required. Additionally, the role demands adaptability to evolving business needs and the ability to foster collaboration across departments to achieve project goals.

Assist the Head of Business Development in strategizing and executing the ISBN Short Programs.

Collaborate closely with the Head of Business Development to strategize and implement ISBN’s key entrepreneurial and sales initiatives.

ISBN management may assign additional responsibilities as needed.

Seeking candidates with a strong academic foundation and relevant professional credentials. Applicants must possess the requisite educational background and demonstrated expertise in their field to qualify for consideration.

A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, entrepreneurship, or a closely related discipline is required.

Seeking candidates with at least three years of hands-on experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or commercial functions, preferably within training, consulting, or entrepreneurship development sectors.

Proven track record of consistently achieving or surpassing revenue, sales, or enrollment objectives.

Proven ability to cultivate meaningful connections, facilitate effective negotiations, and adeptly manage stakeholder relationships is essential.
