Job Summary

As a Domain Consultant specializing in network security transformation, you deliver expert technical guidance to support customers throughout their network security and zero trust initiatives. Your role will be instrumental in crafting tailored technical solutions that align with and safeguard a customer’s critical business objectives. Additionally, you champion our industry-leading capabilities across on-premises, cloud, and security services, reinforcing Palo Alto Networks’ position as a trusted cybersecurity partner for our clients.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties to ensure seamless operations and project success. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals, resolve challenges, and drive consistent results. Monitor workflows, assess progress, and provide actionable feedback to optimize processes and outcomes. Maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and accountability in all initiatives. Serve as a key liaison to stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and facilitating clear communication.

Partner with sales teams to craft and deliver tailored customer solutions aligned with your area of expertise.

Deliver expert-level representation of our organization to customers across all hierarchical levels, including practitioners, managers, and senior executives.

Conduct and facilitate customer demonstrations to effectively highlight our distinctive value proposition.

Duties include overseeing Technical Validation projects for prospective customers and partners, adhering to established best practices, to secure technical wins in designated opportunities.

Design and implement innovative solutions tailored to enhance and streamline customers’ security frameworks, enabling them to achieve a more robust and efficient security posture.

Document high-level designs and essential use cases to guarantee the correct deployment and successful realization of value from Palo Alto Networks solutions.

Engage in discussions regarding current industry trends and evolving shifts within the security landscape.

Ensures thorough analysis and clear communication regarding how products meet specific customer needs and stand out from competitors.

As the primary technical liaison for Network Security, you will engage collaboratively to address RBIs and RFPs, positioning Palo Alto Networks or partner-delivered services as needed to ensure seamless implementation and maximize the value of Palo Alto Networks solutions.

Seeking a candidate with a minimum of three years of experience in a related field, possessing strong analytical skills and proficiency in relevant software applications. The ideal applicant must demonstrate excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. A Bachelor’s degree in a pertinent discipline is required, along with the capacity to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Familiarity with industry best practices and regulatory standards is essential, as is a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Your Experience

Proficiency in pre-sales or sales engineering roles, specifically within domains such as Zero Trust, networking, network security, SaaS security, or SSE/SASE frameworks, is required.

Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers and resolve issues promptly. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering exceptional service and addressing inquiries efficiently. Demonstrates a proactive approach to identifying solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Individuals must possess hands-on experience interacting with customers, coupled with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

A strong grasp of Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), network security principles, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASE), proxy solutions, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) frameworks is required.

Proficiency in both On-Premise and Cloud-Delivered Network Security Technologies is essential.
