Job Summary

Rivet Software & Systems LTD seeks a proactive and dependable Onsite Technician to strengthen our expanding team. The successful applicant will deliver onsite technical support, perform system installations and maintenance, resolve technical issues, and provide customer assistance for our software and hardware solutions.

Overseeing and executing a comprehensive range of critical tasks, the selected candidate will be responsible for managing key operational activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role demands a meticulous approach to planning, coordinating, and monitoring projects from inception to completion, while maintaining rigorous adherence to deadlines and quality standards. Additionally, the position requires active collaboration with cross-functional teams to foster innovation, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement across all initiatives.

Offer comprehensive on-site technical assistance and resolve system or equipment issues through systematic troubleshooting methods.

Responsibilities include deploying, setting up, and sustaining software and hardware infrastructure to ensure seamless functionality and optimal performance.

Provide clients with technical guidance for system installation and troubleshooting, ensuring seamless user experiences and resolving any issues that arise.

Diagnose and rectify technical issues with speed and precision, ensuring minimal disruption to operations while maintaining high standards of accuracy and thoroughness.

Perform regular maintenance and system inspections to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.

Provide user training on system operations as needed to ensure effective utilization.

Draft comprehensive technical reports and provide timely updates to stakeholders.

Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain effective communication with clients throughout all interactions.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is necessary for this role. A minimum of three years of experience in financial management, including budgeting and forecasting, is required. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills are essential. Strong analytical abilities and exceptional attention to detail are critical. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are also required. Candidates must demonstrate a track record of ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and managing financial risks.

A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or a comparable discipline is required.

A fundamental grasp of computer systems, networking principles, and software support mechanisms is required.

Effective communication and strong interpersonal abilities are essential for fostering productive interactions and building collaborative relationships.

Capable of executing tasks autonomously with minimal oversight, demonstrating self-motivation and reliability in meeting deadlines and objectives.

Exceptional analytical abilities and a proactive approach to troubleshooting are essential for this role. Candidates must demonstrate a keen capacity to identify issues, evaluate potential solutions, and implement effective resolutions efficiently. Experience in diagnosing complex challenges and devising innovative strategies to overcome them is highly valued. A methodical mindset and the ability to think critically under pressure are required to ensure optimal outcomes in dynamic environments.

Proficiency in technical support or hands-on field work constitutes a valuable asset.

Proficiency in utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Point of Sale (POS) systems is required for this role.

Proven capability to undertake domestic or international travel as required to deliver onsite technical assistance and support services directly at client locations.
