Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Professional Restaurant Waitress to join the team at Jumbo Ruins Monsoon in Mombasa County, Kenya. In this role, you will deliver outstanding customer service, accurately take orders, serve food and beverages, and create a welcoming dining atmosphere for guests. Your duties will also encompass maintaining a tidy service area, supporting food preparation and presentation, and resolving customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of five years of professional experience in software development, with a proven track record in designing, coding, and implementing scalable applications. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++. Strong problem-solving skills and experience with agile methodologies. Excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders professionally. Excellent verbal and written communication, along with active listening, ensures clear understanding and resolution of inquiries or concerns.
Professional experience in Food & Beverage and Food Service positions is required.
Proficiency in fundamental culinary techniques is considered advantageous.
