As a Senior Manager, you will serve as a pivotal strategic bridge between the sales team and customers, translating business opportunities into customized wireless communication solutions. Within the Texas Sales Team, this position requires a thorough comprehension of customer needs, industry obstacles, and shifting market trends to craft and promote cutting-edge network solutions that support client goals. The role entails close collaboration with the sales team to devise successful strategies, create persuasive technical proposals, and communicate compelling value propositions that set the company apart in the fiercely competitive wireless industry.

This position also involves spearheading customer interactions via presentations, solution demonstrations, and strategic discussions that translate intricate technologies into actionable business benefits. By partnering with cross-functional teams—including product management, engineering, and delivery—the Senior Manager – Presales validates solution viability and ensures smooth implementation. Serves as the central coordinator for the multi-tiered sales process, driving the successful completion of agreements.

Oversees every customer engagement process, encompassing negotiations, proposal development, and contract execution.

Oversees the full lifecycle of the annuity business, which encompasses annual maintenance contract services, with a strong focus on driving and optimizing on-time renewal rates.

Mandatory skills include proficiency in project management methodologies, strong analytical abilities, and exceptional communication skills. Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of experience in a related field and demonstrate expertise in data analysis. Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools is also required. With a minimum of five years of sales experience in the East African region, particularly within the telecommunications sector in Kenya, you possess a strong network and deep industry knowledge.

Additional desirable skills encompass scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell, as well as familiarity with cloud services like AWS or Azure. Candidates with experience in network administration, cybersecurity practices, or ITIL framework implementation will be viewed favorably. Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills are also required.
