A seasoned and high-performing Senior Sales Associate is sought to join our client, a premier supplier of ICT, ELF (Extra Low Voltage), and integrated technology solutions across Sub-Saharan Africa.
The ideal candidate will spearhead sales growth initiatives, cultivate strategic client relationships, uncover new business opportunities, and broaden the company’s presence across regional markets. Candidates must possess strong commercial acumen and a track record of success in selling ICT equipment, technology solutions, networking infrastructure, security systems, data center solutions, or related offerings.
The successful applicant should have extensive experience across diverse regional markets beyond Kenya, coupled with a proven ability to consistently meet sales targets, oversee key accounts, and finalize high-value business-to-business transactions.
Oversee and execute core duties encompassing a range of operational and strategic tasks, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and fostering efficient workflows across teams. Develop, implement, and monitor departmental policies, procedures, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards of productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and optimize resource allocation. Lead initiatives that enhance operational excellence, including process automation, cost-reduction strategies, and innovation projects. Manage budgets, forecast financial performance, and provide data-driven insights to support executive decision-making. Serve as a mentor to junior staff, cultivating a culture of accountability, professional growth, and collaborative problem-solving. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards while upholding the company’s reputation and operational integrity.
Proactively scout, cultivate, and finalize new business prospects spanning Kenya and adjacent regional markets.
Drive sales of ICT equipment, ELF systems, and technology solutions to corporate, government, NGO, education, and commercial clients through strategic outreach and relationship-building initiatives.
Create and implement strategic sales initiatives designed to meet and exceed revenue growth objectives.
Oversee the full spectrum of the sales process, encompassing lead generation, opportunity development, and deal closure, while maintaining ongoing client relationships.
Craft comprehensive proposals, quotations, presentations, and tender responses tailored to meet client and project requirements.
Develop and nurture enduring partnerships with current and potential clients.
Analyze clients’ operational requirements to design and recommend tailored technological solutions that align with their business objectives.
Perform routine client engagements, deliver informative presentations, and showcase product demonstrations on a consistent basis.
Drive excellence in customer satisfaction and loyalty to foster enduring relationships and long-term retention.
Explore and cultivate business prospects within the regional markets of East Africa and other Sub-Saharan African nations.
Stay abreast of industry developments, analyze competitor actions, and track emerging technologies.

Develop sales forecasts, generate pipeline reports, and compile business development updates.

Candidates must meet the following essential criteria to be considered for this position. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is required. At least three years of hands-on experience in the specified industry or role is necessary. Strong proficiency in [relevant software/tools/technologies] is mandatory. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
We seek candidates with at least five years of hands-on experience in B2B sales, specifically within the ICT, ELF, telecommunications, networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or technology solutions industries.
Achieved measurable success in the sales of information and communication technology equipment and solutions.
Demonstrated success in managing markets across regions beyond Kenya are required.
Proven expertise in ICT infrastructure, networking, security systems, data center solutions, or related fields is essential.
Proven expertise in crafting compelling proposals, delivering persuasive presentations, and engaging in effective negotiation strategies is essential.
Demonstrates exceptional business insight and skill in finalizing lucrative agreements.
Capable of cultivating and sustaining high-level client connections at the executive tier.
Demonstrates strong expertise in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced capabilities in data management, reporting, and workflow optimization.
Required ability to travel domestically within Kenya and regionally as needed.
