Role Purpose
The Project Engineer will craft optimized, compliant, and cost-effective technical designs tailored for Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Solar Water Pumping initiatives.
The position contributes to bidding and project development initiatives by meticulously preparing precise engineering documentation, verifying technical adherence, and harmonizing designs with client specifications, donor expectations, and regulatory standards.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least three years of professional experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong communication skills are essential. The ideal applicant will demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with project management software is preferred.
A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline is required.
We require candidates to possess a valid ERA T3 certification.
Minimum three years of hands-on experience in the design and engineering of Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is required.
