The position entails executing a range of Cash Management and Cash Accounting responsibilities within the Corporate Treasury department. Emphasis is placed on maintaining the general ledger and overseeing control functions integral to treasury operations.

Principal Accountabilities:

Compile precise and up-to-date cash flow projections promptly to support financial planning and decision-making processes.

Vivo Energy Kenya is responsible for keeping facility utilization records meticulously updated and consistently maintained, ensuring there are no defaults.

Compile and track data pertaining to product and duty payments to guarantee the punctual fulfillment of product obligations.

Ensure that all commitments, including overtime duties (OD), are promptly and consistently fulfilled.

Develop and finalize the central treasury reporting templates to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial documentation.

Manage the foreign exchange trading operations for the organization, executing trades and overseeing transactions within the FX market.

Monitor and oversee our DIE Trade losses and gains, ensuring accurate tracking and analysis of financial performance.

Serving as the primary liaison for all insurance-related matters, this role ensures effective collaboration between the organization and insurers to maintain seamless operations.

Verify that the e-banking infrastructure is fully implemented, functional, and consistently operational.

Ensure timely and accurate recording of all banking transactions in SAP by overseeing cashiers’ receipting processes.

Assist the Bank Reconciliation Accountant in resolving all reconciling items promptly and accurately to maintain financial integrity.

Ensure that all account reconciliations are completed within established deadlines, with any discrepancies thoroughly investigated and resolved without delay.

Additionally, you will provide support to the Treasury Assistant, overseeing the management of the P Card and trade finance operations as a backup.
