Job Summary

As a Domain Consultant specializing in network security transformation, you will deliver expert technical guidance and strategic support to customers throughout their network security and zero trust initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in designing and implementing technical solutions that safeguard a customer’s critical business objectives. Additionally, you will champion Palo Alto Networks’ industry leadership across on-premises, cloud, and security services, reinforcing our position as the trusted cybersecurity partner for customers.

Key duties encompass overseeing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout all deliverables. Additionally, the role involves analyzing performance metrics to identify trends, reporting findings to senior leadership, and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Collaborating with stakeholders, managing budgets, and resolving escalated issues promptly are also central to this position. The individual will be expected to maintain clear communication channels, document progress meticulously, and support team development initiatives to foster a high-performance culture.

Partner with sales teams to craft and implement tailored customer solutions aligned with your area of expertise.

As the primary technical consultant, you will engage with customers across all organizational levels, from practitioners to senior leadership, positioning yourself as their trusted expert and advisor.

Conduct and facilitate customer demonstrations to effectively highlight our distinctive value proposition and competitive advantages. Provide leadership and guidance throughout these presentations to ensure a compelling showcase of our offerings. Support customers in understanding the key benefits and differentiating features of our solutions during these demonstrations.

Oversee Technical Validation initiatives for prospective customers and partners, adhering to industry best practices to secure technical wins for designated opportunities.

Design innovative solutions to bolster and streamline your customers’ security frameworks, enabling them to achieve a more robust and efficient defensive strategy.

Document high-level design specifications and critical use cases to validate the correct deployment and achievement of intended benefits for Palo Alto Networks solutions.

Engage in discussions regarding current industry trends and the latest developments shaping the security landscape.

Ensures thorough analysis of how products meet customer needs while emphasizing unique features and competitive advantages to enhance value proposition.

As the primary technical contact for Network Security, you will collaborate to address RBIs and RFPs, positioning Palo Alto Networks or partner-delivered services as necessary to ensure seamless implementation and maximize the value of our solutions.

Seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, coupled with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in [specific industry/role]. Your Experience

Professional experience in customer-facing roles, coupled with a proven ability to resolve issues efficiently and maintain a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

A strong grasp of Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW), network security principles, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASE), proxy solutions, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) strategies is essential.

Advanced expertise in both On-Premise and Cloud-Delivered Network Security Technologies is required.
