The Senior Manager, Forensic Investigations, leads strategic direction, oversight, and coordination of forensic investigations across the Bank. This role involves assigning cases to team members, enforcing compliance with established investigative protocols, and guiding investigative efforts to ensure efficient, comprehensive, and high-quality results. Responsibilities include administrative and managerial oversight for organizing, directing, coordinating, and tracking investigations while fostering strong day-to-day performance management within the team. Additionally, the position supports the creation and implementation of fraud awareness and investigative training programs for Bank employees, enhancing the institution’s control framework and fostering a culture of fraud prevention. The role also spearheads the planning and execution of investigative and fraud management initiatives aligned with Bank policies, regulatory mandates, and long-term strategic goals.

Investigations into suspicious payments, system breaches, phishing attempts, social engineering tactics, and irregularities in payment processing are directed and overseen to ensure thorough examination and resolution.
Analyze transaction logs, system audit trails, settlement records, switch reports, card management data, and digital evidence to evaluate the scope and characteristics of fraudulent activities.
Collaborate with local and international payment schemes, correspondent banks, regulatory bodies, telecommunications providers, and law enforcement agencies to conduct thorough investigations.
Promptly address and escalate payment-related fraud incidents to mitigate financial losses and safeguard the Bank’s reputation.
Analyze payment systems, channels, and processes to detect vulnerabilities, then propose targeted fraud prevention and control improvements to mitigate risks effectively.
Responsible for maintaining the integrity and examining digital evidence to facilitate investigations, disciplinary measures, and legal proceedings.
Compose detailed investigation reports, conduct analyses of fraud trends, provide management with updates, and draft regulatory reports concerning payment fraud incidents.
Develop and deploy fraud monitoring tools, transaction surveillance systems, and payment security protocols to safeguard financial operations.
Deliver fraud awareness and investigative training initiatives tailored for personnel engaged in payments operations, digital banking, and electronic channels.

Professional credentials such as the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or ADAMS certification—or their equivalents—are required.
Proficiency in forensic investigation methodologies and adherence to regulatory requirements is essential.
