Role Purpose
The primary responsibility of this role involves overseeing and guiding the sales team, cultivating and expanding new sales opportunities, and enhancing client retention to bolster business growth by leveraging all available tools and resources, thereby surpassing the predetermined performance targets established by management.
You will be responsible for executing a range of tasks and duties, including managing daily operations, overseeing project execution, and ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards. This role demands strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, you will be tasked with analyzing performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategic solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. Identifies business opportunities through prospect identification and evaluation of their industry standing, coupled with comprehensive research and analysis of sales options.
A core responsibility involves cultivating connections with potential clients through strategic outreach and relationship-building efforts, ultimately presenting tailored product solutions to meet their needs.
Proactively follow up with all new and potential clients regarding outstanding requests and quotes to finalize and secure new business opportunities.
To achieve the predetermined monthly sales turnover as outlined in the communication, ensuring all targets are met consistently.
Maintain a zero-tolerance policy for unresolved client queries, guaranteeing all inquiries receive timely and satisfactory responses without exception.
Conduct regular client visits and follow-ups to guarantee satisfaction and maintain strong business relationships.
Maintains client relationships by delivering responsive support, sharing relevant information, and offering expert guidance; identifies and pursues new business opportunities; proposes strategies to enhance profitability and service quality.
Analyzes industry trends, market developments, and competitor actions to pinpoint opportunities for product enhancements and innovations.
Compiles reports by gathering, evaluating, and condensing data, ensuring timely submission in accordance with established deadlines.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is essential for this position, along with a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting, supported by strong Excel skills. Knowledge of ERP systems and advanced data visualization tools is highly advantageous. The ideal applicant will possess excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively across departments. Additionally, candidates should exhibit analytical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently under tight deadlines.
A qualification in Sales and Marketing or a comparable field is required.
With a minimum of five years of demonstrated expertise in sales or business development within a CFS, freight forwarding, or logistics organization, candidates should possess a proven track record in the field.
