As an Associate Clinical Supply Chain Manager at VIA, you will play a key role in executing the comprehensive clinical supply chain strategy for upcoming clinical trials.
In this role, you will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure the timely delivery of supplies, including Investigational Medicinal Products (Imps) and Non-Investigational Medicinal Products (Pimps), to clinical sites while maintaining robust inventory monitoring and accurate demand forecasting. Capable of autonomously managing tasks and taking initiative to guarantee timely and accurate delivery of all trial materials to designated locations.
Responsible for developing and managing demand forecasts and packaging plans to ensure clinical supplies are consistently packed and available in alignment with project specifications.
Launch packaging initiatives in collaboration with the designated vendor and supervise the process to guarantee timely fulfillment.
Monitor and, when required, update the study’s Interactive Response Technology (IRT) systems to ensure accurate and efficient management of study inventory.
Develops and implements the distribution strategy while ensuring that assigned vendors adhere to the established plan.
Ensure continuous monitoring of project budgets to guarantee efficient execution and compliance with client-approved quotations.
Ensures complete adherence to all assigned training requirements and consistently integrates newly acquired knowledge into daily professional activities.
Stay current with all Gap and regulatory requirements relevant to the position.
Facilitates client and vendor meetings as needed to address Clinical Supply Chain topics or provide status updates.
Delivers administrative assistance to the Clinical Trial Supplies team as needed.
Oversees the evaluation and assessment of Temperature Excursions submitted to the VIA Clinical Trial Supplies team.
Performs comprehensive and periodic risk management evaluations to systematically analyze all potential risks and implement suitable mitigation strategies.
Education, skills, and professional credentials are essential prerequisites for this position. Candidates must possess a relevant academic background, specialized knowledge in the field, and the necessary qualifications to fulfill the role effectively.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific discipline or business-related field is required.
With a minimum of one to two years of hands-on experience in the clinical trials sector, you will bring valuable expertise to our team.
Additionally, candidates must possess a minimum of one year of relevant experience in clinical supply chain management, which may be obtained through roles in supply chain, packaging, distribution, or interactive response technology (IRT) functions.
Proficiency in utilizing the Interactive Response Technology (IRT) system is required.
Proven capability to effectively manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to defined objectives.
Builds and maintains strong, productive relationships with both internal teams and external partners to drive collaborative success and ensure alignment on objectives.
Proven capability in conveying messages clearly and providing strong leadership.
