JOB PURPOSE
The role involves supporting the strategic planning and daily implementation of high-performing Business Development activities across General Business and Medical sectors, specifically for broker and tender operations. Additionally, the position is tasked with expanding existing broker accounts and ensuring meticulous quality control of tender documentation.
We seek applicants with a solid foundation of knowledge and hands-on experience in the specified field. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in relevant tools, methodologies, and industry best practices to effectively perform the role’s core functions. Prior experience in similar positions, along with a proven track record of delivering measurable results, is essential. Seeking a candidate with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in the field, complemented by a bachelor’s degree or higher in a related discipline. The ideal applicant will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in industry-standard software, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include conducting thorough research, preparing detailed reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders with clarity and precision. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
A bachelor’s degree in commerce, public relations, or a related field within the social sciences is required.
Fellow or Associate of the Chartered Institute of Insurance (ACID) or the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (AII) qualification, or a Chartered Marketer designation.
Minimum of four years of managerial experience is required.

Applies this expertise to analyze complex systems, solve intricate problems, and develop innovative solutions. Stays current with industry trends, regulatory updates, and emerging technologies to ensure alignment with best practices and organizational objectives.
Skilled in comprehensive understanding of both General and Medical insurance domains, with expertise spanning various coverage types, policy structures, and regulatory frameworks.
Business development, underwriting, claims management, strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methodologies form the core operational pillars of this role. Responsibilities encompass overseeing diverse functions such as cultivating new business opportunities, evaluating risk exposures, administering claims processes, formulating long-term strategies, optimizing resource deployment, and implementing efficient production approaches to drive organizational growth and stability.
