The primary objective of this role is to ensure the efficient and effective execution of designated tasks and responsibilities while maintaining high standards of performance and professionalism. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of duties critical to the operation, collaborating with team members to achieve organizational goals, and adhering to established policies and procedures.

As a Manager within Deloitte’s Risk, Regulatory, and Forensics team, you will oversee and execute enterprise risk and financial crime engagements, collaborating closely with senior managers, directors, and partners to deliver insight-driven, high-quality solutions to clients. This role encompasses enterprise risk reviews and transformations, alongside financial crime advisory services. You will be tasked with overseeing the full engagement lifecycle, from scoping and planning to delivery, reporting, team leadership, and project management.

What you will do

Lead, guide, and inspire engagement teams to consistently deliver exceptional client service while enhancing team capabilities through strategic delegation, targeted coaching, and constructive feedback. Ensure comprehensive oversight of engagement and client acceptance processes, managing each step with diligence and adherence to established protocols.

Oversee the complete lifecycle of enterprise risk and financial crime projects, guaranteeing prompt, high-caliber delivery, strong stakeholder engagement, and necessary guidance and supervision for team members.

Provide strategic guidance to clients on mitigating and minimizing their risk of financial crime, encompassing Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance, fraud prevention, and anti-corruption measures.

Develop and nurture lasting, high-level connections with pivotal client stakeholders to convey value, align with strategic business objectives, and highlight the firm’s comprehensive range of service capabilities.

Provide assistance to the Partner/Associate Director in the identification, pursuit, and conversion of new business opportunities.

Regularly enhance expertise in risk management and financial crime by monitoring updates in regulations, standards, and best practices while engaging in pertinent industry forums to ensure knowledge remains current and comprehensive.

Analyze and convey emerging patterns, market shifts, and critical performance indicators impacting both current and prospective clients, showcasing a deep comprehension of sector-specific trends and the wider economic landscape.

Develop initiatives that elevate the organization’s standing in financial crime and enterprise risk management, thereby strengthening the firm’s reputation and establishing it as a key influencer within the industry.

Collaborate on strategic business development efforts aimed at broadening the financial crime and enterprise risk portfolio while fostering the expansion of these service offerings.

Seeking candidates with a minimum of six to eight years of professional experience, preferably obtained within a Big Four firm, financial institution, or telecommunications sector, with demonstrated familiarity in anti-money laundering (AML) and enterprise risk management practices.

Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting complex technical issues, optimizing workflows, and implementing efficient processes to achieve organizational objectives.
