Job Summary

The incumbent will spearhead the execution of the sales strategy tailored for the corporate market segment, ensuring alignment with the department’s strategic objectives via broker channels.

Key Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency, collaborating across departments to align on strategic goals, managing project timelines and deliverables, conducting performance evaluations for team members, and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity. Additionally, the role involves analyzing data to identify trends and KPIs, preparing comprehensive reports for stakeholders, and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability within the team. The position also requires maintaining strong client relationships, addressing operational challenges, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Collaborate in developing and executing the sales strategy to align with the organization’s overall growth objectives.

Identify and pursue broker business opportunities, negotiate agreements, and finalize deals while adhering to the company’s established quality business guidelines to drive market share growth.

We are seeking to identify and onboard broker partners who will play a key role in driving business growth by uncovering opportunities for new client acquisition, as well as expanding services through strategic cross-selling and upselling initiatives with current clients.

Prepare and deliver precise, market-aligned price proposals for all product lines without delay to brokers and potential clients.

Ensure all brokers receive ongoing product training to maintain strong product knowledge, uphold professional standards, and provide accurate client advice, thereby preventing any misrepresentation.

Oversee a diverse portfolio of key corporate clients to drive revenue growth and strengthen client relationships.

Compile strategic market intelligence focusing on key portfolio accounts, conduct detailed competitor analysis, and monitor emerging industry trends to inform decision-making.

Develop strong collaborative partnerships with internal teams, marketing personnel, and other leadership to unlock additional sales prospects and drive organizational revenue growth.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of five years of professional experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, alongside expertise in software design principles and best practices. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills are also necessary. The ideal candidate will have experience with agile methodologies and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.

A bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Marketing, or a related business discipline is required for this role.

A diploma in Insurance, such as ACID or AII, is required, along with membership in either the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) or the Insurance Institute of Kenya (INK).
