We are seeking an experienced Sales and Leasing Consultant to drive the marketing and sales of our Nairobi-based properties across the African region.
Role Description
This full-time, on-site position as a Sales and Leasing Consultant is located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The individual selected for this role will assume responsibilities including, but not limited to, conducting sales and leasing activities for the organization.
Develop and maintain robust partnerships with startups, small and medium-sized enterprises, corporate clients, non-governmental organizations, and professionals working remotely.
Develop fresh business opportunities by cultivating connections through networking events, client referrals, online channels, and proactive outreach initiatives.
Drive sales for coworking memberships, private offices, dedicated desks, virtual offices, meeting rooms, and event spaces to expand client engagement and revenue growth.
Lead engaging and informative tours for potential clients, highlighting the key features and amenities of the available facilities.
Build and sustain a robust pipeline of prospective sales opportunities to ensure consistent business growth and revenue generation.
Prepare and finalize membership agreements and lease documentation through meticulous negotiation and review.
Transform inquiries into enrolled members and sustained client partnerships.
Drive consistent month-over-month and quarter-over-quarter occupancy and revenue growth by meeting or exceeding established targets.
Explore avenues to recommend supplementary services that enhance customer value and increase revenue streams.
Deliver exceptional customer experiences to drive satisfaction and foster long-term retention.
Handle member concerns with efficiency and professionalism, ensuring timely resolution.
Responsibilities include promoting available properties, facilitating property tours, and assisting prospective residents throughout the leasing process—from initial inquiry to move-in.
This position entails drafting and overseeing lease agreements, guaranteeing precise lease management, and keeping all documentation current within applicable systems.
The consultant will address resident inquiries, efficiently resolve issues, and develop strategies aimed at improving resident retention and satisfaction.
Daily responsibilities include liaising with property management and maintenance teams, tracking market trends, and driving occupancy and revenue targets through strategic sales initiatives and exceptional customer service.
Devise and execute strategic marketing initiatives designed to enhance occupancy rates.
Engage actively in various professional networking events, trade exhibitions, and industry forums to foster meaningful connections and promote organizational growth.
Foster strategic alliances with business associations, chambers of commerce, and startup ecosystems to drive collaborative initiatives and mutual growth opportunities.
Collect and analyze data on competitor products and pricing structures to identify market trends and opportunities.
Oversee the upkeep of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases and generate comprehensive sales activity reports.
Monitor and analyze data on occupancy rates, sales performance, and lead conversion metrics to assess operational effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Compile weekly and monthly sales reports to track performance metrics and identify trends.
Ensure the accurate filing and maintenance of all membership agreements and associated documentation.
Qualifications
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of leases, lease terms, and lease administration, including the capability to prepare, review, and manage lease documentation with precision and accuracy.
Proven track record in resident retention strategies, encompassing relationship development, conflict mediation, and the execution of programs designed to enhance resident satisfaction and lease renewals.
Proven ability to communicate effectively and deliver outstanding customer service, engaging prospects with professionalism, addressing inquiries promptly, and addressing the varied requirements of residents with care and efficiency.
Strong preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated track record of success in sales or leasing within real estate, property management, or a closely related discipline.
Capable of executing responsibilities on-site while effectively balancing competing priorities and achieving leasing and occupancy objectives within a dynamic, high-pressure setting.
Demonstrated ability to utilize standard office software and specialized property management or customer relationship management systems with ease. Skilled in leveraging digital tools for accurate reporting and thorough documentation.
A degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related discipline is considered beneficial.
A strong commitment to ethical standards, meticulous attention to detail, and a customer-centric, professional demeanor are essential.
