JOB PURPOSE
This role involves supporting the strategic planning and daily implementation of high-performing Business Development activities, encompassing both General Business and Medical sectors, as well as broker and tender operations. Additionally, the position is tasked with expanding existing broker accounts and ensuring the meticulous quality management of tender documentation.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a similar role. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in industry-specific software and tools, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities. Familiarity with project management methodologies and compliance standards is preferred.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Public Relations, or another discipline within the Social Sciences is required.
Fellow or Associate of the Chartered Institute of Insurers (ACID) / Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (ACID) qualification, or Chartered Marketer status, is required.
Minimum of five years of management experience is required.
Knowledge
Possesses comprehensive expertise in both general and medical insurance domains.
Business development, underwriting, claims management, strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods are critical areas of responsibility for this role. Proficiency in these domains is essential, as the position requires a comprehensive understanding of operational processes and their interdependencies. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in evaluating risks, structuring policies, processing claims, and optimizing workflows to enhance organizational efficiency.
