POSITION SUMMARY:
The Data Analyst Team Lead will oversee the creation of data-as-a-product solutions, reporting to the Senior Manager of Data Products. This role demands a strong grasp of the data requirements for producers, market partners, and consumers, along with the capacity to translate these needs into well-defined, prioritized data solutions and a structured delivery roadmap. Additionally, you will shape a strategic vision for converting these solutions into actionable insights that generate measurable benefits for our producer partners and the environment. Your responsibilities will include validating that each data product meets its intended purpose while maximizing value delivery.
You will collaborate with the Senior Manager of Data Products to jointly develop the data delivery roadmap, prioritize team tasks effectively, and mentor colleagues to enhance their skills and expertise.
Approximately half of your time will be dedicated to fostering team leadership and advancing strategic initiatives, while the remaining half will focus on executing operational project tasks firsthand.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Oversee a group of three to four data analysts, providing leadership and direction to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
Proactively engage with initiatives that incorporate a data component to incorporate data requirements from the outset.
To remain current with emerging data reporting technologies, professionals must proactively engage in continuous learning and skill development. This involves actively monitoring industry advancements, evaluating new tools, and assessing their potential applications within organizational workflows. Additionally, it requires staying informed about best practices and integrating innovative solutions to maintain efficiency and accuracy in data analysis and reporting processes.
We gather data reporting requirements from external clients and prospective customers.
Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to generate externally focused insights derived from data, specifically by translating analytical findings into strategic actions.
Collaborate effectively with Product Managers to integrate all data-related requirements into tooling specifications.
Collaborate effectively with the data engineering team to synchronize roadmaps, oversee dependencies, and recommend innovative data engineering solutions.
Enhance reporting functionalities consistently for both analytics teams to ensure continuous improvement.
Our role encompasses leading the deployment of dashboards across the organization and facilitating project-related rollouts with the collaboration of the Implementation team.
Facilitating collaboration among internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of the customer rollout initiative.
Periodically engage with field colleagues and key stakeholders engaged in data collection to detect potential biases and reporting risks, then furnish them with detailed reports to help identify and mitigate these issues.
Develop a structured and systematic approach to collect regional perspectives and incorporate them into internal reports to support bottom-up strategic initiatives.
Evaluating opportunities to seamlessly integrate data in a strategic and user-focused manner, thereby enhancing engagement and usability.
WHAT YOU BRING:
A bachelor’s degree is required, along with strong proficiency in mathematics, statistics, and/or data analysis.
Experienced in data reporting and analysis with a proven track record of seven years, demonstrating expertise in transforming raw data into actionable insights through meticulous examination and structured reporting methods.
With a minimum of one year of managerial experience—or its equivalent in coaching, mentoring, and training junior staff—you will bring the necessary expertise to guide and develop team members effectively.
Analyze root causes of issues and take initiative to address them through teamwork and coordinated efforts.
End-to-end proficiency in data visualization platforms such as Power BI and Tableau is required.
Proficient command of the English language is required.
