Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve organizational objectives, oversee daily operations, and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures. Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, implement corrective actions, and drive efficiencies across departments. Collaborate with senior leadership to align initiatives with long-term business goals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Manage cross-functional teams, allocate resources effectively, and delegate responsibilities to optimize productivity and performance. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, legal requirements, and internal standards while maintaining a focus on risk management and operational resilience. Develop and nurture talent through mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to strengthen organizational capabilities.

Perform an expedited assessment of the private healthcare sector to identify and document existing and potential U.S.-based investors.

Organize and facilitate meetings with local partners when needed, including collaborations with global pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, and clinic or hospital networks.

Facilitate the formulation of a strategic initiative focused on fostering collaboration with the private sector.

Execute additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by the Team Lead to support operational objectives and team goals.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience in a relevant technical discipline. Minimum of three years of professional experience in software development, with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design, implement, and maintain scalable systems. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps practices is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git) is required.

A master’s degree in Social Science, Business, Public Health, Health Economics, or a closely related discipline is highly advantageous; however, an advanced degree is preferred.

With more than a dozen years of dedicated service within the private sector—spanning healthcare delivery, healthcare services, healthcare investment, or health-focused business associations, including chapters of the American Chamber of Commerce (Ascham)—extensive experience has been cultivated.

Developed and maintained strategic partnerships with leading pharmaceutical firms, global manufacturers of medical devices, and extensive networks of clinics and hospitals.

Proven expertise in evaluating emerging investment prospects within the healthcare industry, coupled with a track record of initiating or facilitating collaborative ventures between public and private entities.

Availability requires a commitment of at least 1.5 days for in-country meetings.

Proven capacity to swiftly adjust to evolving demands while effectively balancing multiple competing priorities.

Able to demonstrate proactive initiative and quick responsiveness in fast-paced, ever-evolving professional settings.

Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, while delivering engaging presentations and managing tasks with strong organizational proficiency.

Fluent proficiency in English is essential. Additionally, candidates from Côte d’Ivoire are required to demonstrate strong French language skills.
