Achieve departmental KPIs, including Material efficiency (Kg/m²), design efficiency (hrs/design, designs/day), and design errors (% of order), as mandated.
Ensure adherence to established design timelines in consultation with line managers to consistently meet customer expectations.

Collaborate closely with detailers to develop precise drawings intended for both internal and external purposes.
Review blueprints and schematics closely to verify full adherence to established design standards and specifications.
Perform random quality checks and inspections on jobs under fabrication as needed.
Participate in the onboarding and professional development of new team members within the department to foster ongoing growth and excellence.

Required qualifications and experience include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, supplemented by a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in software development, preferably within Agile environments. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# is essential, along with strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and version control systems such as Git is highly advantageous. Excellent communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams are also necessary.
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
Computer literacy, specifically proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, is required.
