Job Summary
This role is pivotal for advancing the organization’s strategic initiatives at the branch level, requiring the development and execution of strong business strategies to enhance top-line revenue, profitability, market share, and client acquisition. Additionally, the Branch Manager will oversee all operational aspects of the branch to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team, responsible for executing a diverse range of duties and fulfilling key roles with precision. The ideal candidate will oversee critical tasks, ensuring adherence to established protocols while maintaining efficiency and accuracy in all operations. Key responsibilities include managing workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and addressing operational challenges to drive productivity and excellence. Additionally, the position demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
Spearhead business development initiatives, comprising 70% of the role, by formulating and executing strategies to expand product reach, penetrate untapped markets, and drive revenue growth. Engage in proactive outreach through personalized visits, targeted email campaigns, and strategic telemarketing to cultivate client relationships and secure new business opportunities.
Attend Board of Trustees (BOT) meetings to maintain strong client relationships, facilitate interactive open forums, and identify opportunities to introduce additional products to existing clients.
Conduct comprehensive SWOT analyses for each branch and develop strategic initiatives to sustain a competitive edge within the department.
Coordinate and oversee daily office operations and administrative tasks, maintaining infrastructure integrity while optimizing resource utilization to enhance efficiency.
Appraise branch staff performance, enforce key performance indicators, manage leave requests, and identify training needs, all while demonstrating effective team leadership.
Risk & Compliance (5%): Proactively detect, evaluate, and communicate operational risks to the line manager, recommending appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, complemented by a minimum of three years of professional experience in a similar role. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and adaptability to evolving industry trends. Familiarity with project management methodologies and regulatory compliance standards is highly advantageous.
A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a comparable position, with a preference for candidates from the financial services industry, is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Public Relations, or a closely related discipline is required.
Industry Knowledge: Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of the pension and insurance sector, retirement benefit programs, and investment accounting principles. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in utilizing CRM software and the MS Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
Core proficiencies encompass exceptional leadership capabilities, adeptness in delivering presentations, proficiency in data analysis and market research, as well as strategic thinking aptitude.
A self-starter with a strong orientation toward results, demonstrating maturity and confidence when engaging with senior leaders within the organization.
