Maintain precise documentation of all sales transactions within the accounting software system.

Reconcile revenues recorded in the point-of-sale system with all incoming payment transactions to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records.

Oversee the regular maintenance and reconciliation of till floats and petty cash balances to ensure accuracy and availability of funds.

Verify the correctness of purchase invoices, ensuring they are properly authorized and aligned with the allocated budget.

The accounting software is utilized to record and post invoices, ensuring accurate financial documentation and compliance with established accounting procedures.

Following meticulous verification of invoices and receipt of necessary approvals, execute payments to a diverse range of suppliers in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsible for accurately filing and processing VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), and Withholding Tax on Higher Transactions (WHTHT) within the designated deadlines.

Monitor outstanding receivables diligently and ensure timely follow-up actions are taken to resolve any overdue payments.

Monitor accounts payable and receivable aging to ensure timely identification of outstanding balances and overdue payments.

Collaborate closely with the HR department to ensure accurate and timely payroll inputs, fostering clear communication and alignment between teams to maintain payroll integrity.

Responsibilities include overseeing inventory management and performing monthly stock counts to ensure accurate records and optimal stock levels.

Ensure that installment taxes are processed promptly according to the established deadlines.

The incumbent will prepare and organize all necessary documentation essential to the auditing process, ensuring completeness and accuracy in accordance with established standards and regulatory requirements.

Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date asset register involves systematically recording, tracking, and verifying all organizational assets, including physical equipment, digital resources, and intangible holdings.
