The Accounting & Finance Associate plays a pivotal role in ensuring resources are utilized optimally and financial records, accounting processes, and reporting are conducted with precision and effectiveness. Prepare and support the development of financial reports, compile relevant data, and address queries to uphold compliance and precision.
As the Local Finance Focal Point, you will be responsible for validating invoices, ensuring accurate calculations, and preparing submissions for the Global Shared Services Centre (GSSC).
Maintain accurate records by systematically tracking and reconciling expenditures, balances, and payments associated with daily transactions.
Data Management responsibilities involve sourcing, validating, and inputting information from a variety of origins while maintaining thoroughness and precision.
Prepare recurring and special reports to meet scheduled and ad-hoc requirements for audits, budgets, and other essential needs.
Provide assistance with account closure procedures and contribute to the preparation of year-end financial statements.
Provide expert advisory services to staff and consultants regarding allowances, claims, reimbursements, and other financial-related inquiries, ensuring clarity and compliance with established policies.
Initiate communications to verify information and resolve any discrepancies in data.
As a Bank Liaison, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with local banking institutions, tracking and analyzing exchange rates, and ensuring accurate financial reconciliations.
Budget Support involves developing cost estimates and participating in budget analyses and project initiatives.

A secondary education diploma or equivalent credential is mandatory.
A minimum of six years of hands-on experience in finance and accounting is necessary.

Fluency in English is an essential prerequisite for this role.
