Proven is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales & Business Development Executive to spearhead expansion efforts across Kenya and the broader regional market.
This position entails sourcing new leads, finalizing sales agreements, nurturing client connections, initiating outreach efforts, and expanding corporate partnerships. The preferred applicant will be tasked with cultivating and sustaining a robust sales pipeline through the identification of critical business opportunities and potential clients. The primary objective is to consistently surpass monthly and annual targets while driving revenue growth.
Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to established protocols, while actively identifying opportunities for process improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives that enhance productivity and align with organizational goals. Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning. Monitor performance metrics and key indicators to assess outcomes, address gaps, and implement corrective actions as needed. Serve as a liaison between senior management and operational staff to facilitate clear communication and alignment on priorities.

Craft and execute strategic sales initiatives designed to meet established corporate sales objectives.
Craft and finalize contract proposals and sales agreements in collaboration with clients and business partners.
Develop and nurture ongoing partnerships with current clients to uphold satisfaction levels and foster long-term retention.
Evaluate prospects and guide them through every stage of the sales process to ensure successful conversions.
Conduct thorough research to identify and engage prospective clients who align with the company’s strategic objectives.
Execute outbound communications, including phone calls, emails, LinkedIn and social media outreach, as well as other strategic prospecting initiatives to identify and engage potential clients.
Proactively initiate and cultivate meetings by leveraging strategic outreach and fostering impactful networking connections.
Engage actively in the preparation and submission of bids and tenders, ensuring compliance with specified requirements and deadlines while collaborating with cross-functional teams to present compelling proposals.
Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients to effectively showcase value propositions and drive engagement.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience is required.
Comprehensive corporate sales experience spanning over two years is required.
Demonstrates a strong track record of successfully finalizing sales transactions.
Achieved consistent success in surpassing sales objectives, demonstrating a strong ability to exceed performance expectations.
Proactive, results-driven individuals who excel in independent settings and demonstrate a strong sense of initiative are sought for this role. Candidates must exhibit exceptional self-motivation, enabling them to prioritize tasks effectively and maintain productivity without constant oversight.
