About the Role

Our organization is in search of a proactive and outcomes-focused Sales Executive to drive the growth of our corporate client portfolio. The ideal candidate will be tasked with identifying new business prospects, cultivating enduring client relationships, and meeting established sales objectives within the stationery and office supplies industry.

This inaugural sales role represents the initial step in a strategic expansion initiative, providing the potential to evolve into a leadership position within an expanding sales organization as the company grows.

Oversee core responsibilities encompassing strategic planning, team leadership, and operational execution to drive organizational objectives. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity across departments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards while mitigating risks. Lead performance management initiatives, including goal-setting, progress tracking, and employee development programs. Manage budgetary allocations, resource allocation, and financial reporting optimizing fiscal responsibility. Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration to achieve measurable results.

Proactively seek and establish relationships with corporate clients, educational institutions, non-governmental organizations, and wholesale buyers to expand our market presence.

Advocate for and distribute a comprehensive range of office stationery, educational supplies, office consumables, printer toners, ink cartridges, and complementary products to meet diverse customer needs.

Travel to client sites as required to deliver presentations and product demonstrations.

Develop and nurture enduring customer connections to foster loyalty and satisfaction over time.

Develop and submit detailed quotations while actively pursuing potential sales leads to drive revenue growth and expand market reach.

Collect payments from onboarded clients promptly and efficiently to maintain financial stability and client relationships.

To consistently meet a monthly sales target of KES 1,000,000 in revenue.

Accurately document all sales activities and customer interactions to ensure comprehensive record-keeping.

Analyze market trends and uncover potential avenues for business expansion.

Requirements

Applicants should possess prior sales experience in the stationery, office supplies, or printing industries.

Exceptional interpersonal abilities are essential, including adept communication, skilled negotiation, and the capacity to cultivate and sustain robust professional relationships.

A proactive individual with the ability to effectively manage responsibilities without direct supervision in outdoor or field-based settings.

Exceptional organizational capabilities and proficient time-management skills are essential for this role.

Proven capability to consistently surpass established sales objectives.

Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize fundamental computer applications is required.
