Job Objective
To advance the institution’s strategic goals, this role involves cultivating and maintaining partnerships, securing resources, and obtaining funding through grant applications, sponsorships, and strategic alliances. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Affairs, Marketing, and Liaison, the position entails the following responsibilities:
Overseeing a comprehensive range of tasks and obligations, this role encompasses a diverse set of duties designed to ensure operational excellence and organizational success. The position requires meticulous attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving capabilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities include executing key processes, maintaining high standards of performance, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, and contributing to strategic initiatives that drive business growth. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach to addressing challenges while maintaining alignment with company objectives and industry best practices.
Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with governmental bodies, non-governmental organizations, corporate sponsors, and development collaborators to foster collaborative initiatives.
Serve as the official representative of the institution in meetings, conferences, and other events focused on resource mobilization.
Proactively seek out and capitalize on funding prospects, such as grants, sponsorships, and contributions.
Prepare and deliver funding proposals and grant applications to donors and funding organizations.
Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to assess resource requirements and establish funding priorities.
Provide support to faculty and researchers in obtaining financial resources for academic programs, projects, and scholarly endeavors.
Facilitate alumni networking events, mentorship initiatives, and fundraising campaigns to foster connections and support organizational growth.
Draft comprehensive reports detailing fund utilization and impact for donors, management, and relevant stakeholders.
Perform any additional duties as directed by supervisors or as outlined in your comprehensive job description from time to time.
Seeking a candidate with a strong academic background and relevant professional experience in the specified field.
