Facilitate the collection of data for monitoring and evaluation initiatives across all thematic programs, projects, and operational departments.
Guarantee the precision and reliability of data to facilitate accurate monitoring and evaluation of institutional strategic objectives.
Support the evaluation of data to monitor and assess the effectiveness of programs, projects, and operational departments.
Assemble and maintain the Reporting Matrix to accurately track and reflect the status of multiple projects within the ERP system.
Provide support in compiling and preparing reports using the gathered data, while monitoring the progress and effectiveness of programs, projects, and functional departments to ensure alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.
Guarantee that the presentation of results and effects derived from quantitative and qualitative data across programs, projects, and functions is clear, logical, and consistently coherent.
Carry out any additional duties as required, including, but not limited to ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of four years of hands-on experience in software development, preferably with a focus on full-stack or backend development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, along with expertise in frameworks like Spring, Django, or React.
• Strong understanding of databases, including SQL and NoSQL systems, and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable, high-performance software solutions and optimize system performance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
A master’s degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Development Studies, Statistics, Economics, or a closely related discipline is required.
Analytical acumen is essential, along with demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel, data analysis tools, and report generation.
Proven ability to convey information clearly and effectively through both spoken and written interactions is essential.
Capable of working autonomously while efficiently handling a variety of tasks and priorities concurrently.
Proficiency in utilizing an ERP system specifically for managing M&E data would be considered a valuable asset.
