As a Domain Consultant specializing in network security transformation, you deliver specialized technical guidance to support customers in their network security and zero trust initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing technical solutions that align with and safeguard a customer’s critical business priorities. Additionally, you will champion Palo Alto Networks’ industry-leading capabilities in on-premises, cloud, and security services, reinforcing our position as a trusted cybersecurity partner for customers.
Oversee the execution of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership to ensure organizational objectives are met with precision. Provide guidance and direction to staff, fostering a collaborative work environment that promotes productivity and innovation. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Monitor performance metrics and key indicators to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align resources, resolve challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, organizational standards, and ethical guidelines while maintaining a strong focus on risk management and quality assurance.
Partner with sales departments to design and implement tailored customer solutions aligned with your area of expertise.
As the company’s dedicated expert, you will engage with customers across all organizational levels, ranging from practitioners to senior leadership.
Conduct and facilitate customer demonstrations to effectively highlight our distinctive value proposition, ensuring alignment with client needs and business objectives.
Responsible for conducting technical validation projects for prospective customers and partners, adhering to best practices to secure technical wins in designated opportunities.
Design and implement robust solutions to enhance and streamline customers’ security postures effectively.
Develop comprehensive high-level design documentation and outline essential use cases to guarantee the accurate implementation and successful value delivery of Palo Alto Networks solutions.
Facilitate discussions on current industry trends and evolving developments in the security landscape.
Responsible for engaging with stakeholders to ensure product alignment with customer needs and to articulate key differentiators, thereby reinforcing the product’s value proposition and competitive advantages.
In this role, serving as the primary technical authority for Network Security, you will work collaboratively to address RBIs and RFPs, positioning Palo Alto Networks or partner-delivered services where suitable to guarantee seamless implementation and maximize the value derived from Palo Alto Networks solutions.

Qualifications
Your Experience
Professionals should possess practical experience in pre-sales or sales engineering roles, with a focus on Zero Trust frameworks, networking solutions, network security protocols, SaaS security implementations, or SSE/SASE technologies.
Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in engaging with customers and resolving inquiries with precision and professionalism. Requires a strong aptitude for clear, concise communication and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
Professional Experience:
Demonstrated expertise in customer engagement, coupled with a proactive approach to resolving inquiries and challenges. Possesses strong problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset, ensuring efficient and satisfactory service delivery.
Proficiency in Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW), network security architectures, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASE), proxy solutions, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) frameworks is required.
Seasoned expertise in both on-premises network security architectures and cloud-based network security solutions is required.
