Job Summary
Rivet Software & Systems LTD seeks a proactive and dependable Onsite Technician to strengthen our expanding team. The successful applicant will deliver onsite technical support, perform system installations and maintenance tasks, resolve technical issues, and provide customer assistance for our software and hardware solutions.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of critical duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Develop, implement, and monitor strategic initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall performance. Collaborate cross-functionally with diverse teams to foster innovation, streamline processes, and achieve key deliverables. Analyze data, assess risks, and provide actionable insights to support informed decision-making at all levels. Manage resources effectively, including personnel, budgets, and technology, to optimize outcomes and sustain growth. Deliver onsite technical assistance and resolve technical issues as they arise.
Install, set up, deploy, and oversee software applications and hardware infrastructure, ensuring optimal functionality, performance, and security. Conduct routine maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to preserve system reliability, address technical issues promptly, and minimize downtime. Perform installations, configurations, and upgrades in alignment with organizational standards and best practices.
Provide clients with comprehensive assistance in system configuration and user support to ensure seamless operation and optimal functionality of their systems.
Diagnose and promptly resolve technical issues to ensure minimal disruption to operations, leveraging analytical expertise and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Perform regular maintenance tasks and conduct thorough system inspections to ensure operational integrity and reliability.
Provide user training on system operations as needed to ensure effective utilization.
Compile comprehensive technical documentation and progress reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to established guidelines.
Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain clear, professional communication with clients consistently.
• Seeking a detail-oriented professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, preferably with 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development, system administration, or a closely related area.
• Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Required to demonstrate proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ and familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Should exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry best practices while actively contributing to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or a comparable discipline is required.
A foundational knowledge of computer systems, networking principles, and software troubleshooting is required.
Skilled in fostering clear, effective dialogue and cultivating strong interpersonal relationships are essential for this role.
Demonstrates strong self-motivation and the capacity to excel with little to no oversight.
Exceptional analytical abilities are essential, enabling you to assess complex situations and devise effective solutions efficiently.
Proficiency in technical support or hands-on fieldwork constitutes an additional benefit to the role.

Proficiency in utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Point of Sale (POS) systems is essential for this role.
