A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BCN) or a Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN) from an accredited institution is required.
Holding current registration and a valid license issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK)
Holders of a Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) demonstrate essential competencies in emergency cardiovascular care, including the ability to perform high-quality CPR, operate automated external defibrillators (AED’s), and manage advanced airway techniques. These certifications validate proficiency in recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias, administering emergency medications, and executing systematic approaches to cardiac arrest and stroke scenarios. Employers prioritize candidates with these credentials for roles in critical care, emergency medicine, and high-acuity clinical environments where rapid, evidence-based interventions are paramount.
A minimum of one year of hands-on clinical experience through an internship is required.
Demonstrated expertise in computer applications, with a particular emphasis on Health Management Information Systems (HIS).
Proficient in articulating ideas clearly and fostering collaborative relationships, with a strong ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.
