Job purpose

To prioritize field visits, enhancing retailer awareness and improving SIM and Float performance, while ensuring optimal visibility and merchandising standards at the point of purchase for SOS and Trash agents.

Oversee and execute critical tasks encompassing project management, team leadership, and strategic planning, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Collaborate across departments to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and drive operational excellence. Conduct comprehensive performance evaluations, identify skill gaps, and implement targeted training initiatives to foster professional growth. Develop and maintain robust reporting systems to monitor progress, analyze key metrics, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Serve as a primary liaison for stakeholder communications, ensuring transparency and accountability at all levels.

Effectively oversee the identification and recruitment of Agents, focusing on mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores.

Maintain consistent engagement with SOS and Agents by adhering to established route plans (beat plans) through regular visits.

Provide and deliver all essential business tools necessary for seamless transactions at SSO and agent outlets, ensuring agents are thoroughly trained on operational processes.

The role involves delivering comprehensive training to agents on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) protocols and educating Subject Owners (SOS) on Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures as they pertain to SIM REG compliance.

Float and stock management responsibilities include monitoring and rigorously enforcing the 1.5x stock rule for agents, while also ensuring Sales Support Officers (SOS) maintain sufficient SIM stock for new registrations and activations.

We are responsible for establishing and upholding merchandising standards by ensuring the availability of merchandising materials at SOS (Service Support Outlets) and Agent outlets.

Seeking candidates with a strong academic foundation and relevant professional experience. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, with preference given to those holding advanced degrees. Professional experience in a similar role is essential, demonstrating a capacity to handle the responsibilities of the position effectively. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is often necessary, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Candidates should exhibit a commitment to continuous learning and professional development to stay current with evolving industry standards and best practices.

A Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is required.
